And the wait is finally over! The ‘Suspended in Dusk’ anthology, edited by Simon Dewar and with an introduction by Jack Ketchum, is officially out in the world. And doesn’t it just look amazing?
It’s now available from Amazon, here. The print version will be available shortly, for us paper lovers who get sentimental about coffee stains and lipstick smears on the pages.
Suspended in Dusk is published by Books of the Dead Press and contains nineteen great horror stories by a diverse range of writers, including a story by Ramsey Campbell. My story ‘Hope is Here’ also features. I haven’t said anything about this story as yet, mostly because it was one of those stories I wrote out of nowhere and can’t trace any specific inspiration for it? To be brief, it follows a homeless man over about two days as he wanders the city, wrestling himself, his pride, and those who offer him charity. And yes, it’s a horror story. Of course. What else?
To get updates from the editor and hero of the project himself, follow Simon Dewar. ‘Suspended in Dusk’ aside, he’s always got something good to share.
